Erik Simpson
Idaho State Representative-elect
District 32-B
What's important to you is also important to me

Idaho is the greatest state in the nation!  What makes our state the best is, well . . . you.  You
demand low taxes, wholesome family values, a low cost of living, a great public education
system, increased job opportunities, and access to recreational and outdoor pursuits.  You,
the voters, continue to send elected officials to Boise and Washington, D.C., to ensure your
priorities are met.

Responsible Government

Your financial growth is my priority not the exponential growth of our government

Each state department must be held accountable for your money they spend

Family Values

I'm a pro-life, pro-family candidate

I want a quality education for my young children that both challenges them and
encourages them to seek higher education through our university system or
vocational-technical school

We need to work collectively to ensure our kids stay drug-free through the
implementation of the governor's anti-meth project

We must do everything we can to protect our children, including implementing
Jessica's Law

Children stand a better chance at being successful being raised in a stable
environment with a mother and father and belief in God

Economic Development

We need to be business friendly, but not pass laws that tie the hands of our city and
county governments

We need to strive to bring in better-paying jobs to our region and new capital
investments

Idaho Falls should be the regional hub for high-tech, INL-related, and
medical/research jobs

Idaho National Laboratory

The legislature and governor must be kept apprised of the value of the Idaho
National Laboratory and its programs

The successful completion of the cleanup mission goes hand-in-hand with the lab's
ability to attract new projects and missions

Water

An adequate water supply is not only crucial for our agricultural industries, but also
for the sustained growth of our cities and counties

Idaho must retain control of Idaho's water
